01Who we are
Beat-Hit.Ai Ltd (“beat-hit”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data processed through beat-hit.ai. We are a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 17188225), based in London, and registered with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO Registration: C1958862).
02What we collect
We process two categories of personal data:
- Account data you give us — name, work email, company, role and billing details — to create and run your account.
- Database records — professional contact information (names, roles, public professional email addresses, social handles) sourced from public professional listings, direct submissions and user corrections.
03How we use it
Account data is used to provide the service, take payment, and support you. Database records are provided to subscribers for legitimate professional outreach. We do not sell contact records. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract and legitimate interests, balanced against the rights of the individuals in the database.
04Where it lives & how long
All data sits in EU/UK infrastructure. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Records that fail verification are flagged rather than silently deleted, so changes remain auditable.
05Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to erasure. Individuals in the database can request removal at any time (see below). To exercise any right, contact us and we will respond within statutory timeframes.
06Data removal & unsubscribe
If you are listed in the beat-hit database and want your record removed, email us with the details and we will action verified data-removal requests within 72 hours. Marketing emails carry an unsubscribe link in every message.
07Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and a minimal set of analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.
